ABOUT MOCA
Our Story
Our journey began with a single client and a referral program. As we’ve grown, we’ve focused on building an environment of trust and support that allows our team and our clients to work intentionally. We began under the name “Jess Hershey, LLC.” As our team grew, the name MOCA was adopted from our internal project management system. Our developer called it “MOCA” as a play on the Hershey last name and the type of entrepreneurship that leaves space for a cup of coffee in a cozy chair by a window.
How we work is just as important as what we do. We believe that a successful business aligns with your values and makes your heart happy. That’s what MOCA does for us, and that’s what we’re hoping to create for our clients.
There are four values tied into the MOCA company culture; kind communication, thoughtful work, a relationship-based approach, and a flexible schedule. These values guide our work and our interactions, creating a working environment that we’re happy to be a part of. We show up every day hoping to demonstrate this company culture, and we expect the same of our clients.
Kind Communication
We practice kind communication with our clients and our team. Communication drives connection. It brings us together and lets us understand and achieve more than we could on our own. Especially when it’s paired with a kind delivery.
Thoughtful Work
All of our work is backed by supportive systems so that we can be thoughtful about what we’re putting out into the world. Our structure allows us to avoid the urgent work and reactive responses that create a bigger mess.
Relationship-Based Approach
We have grown almost entirely on referrals. Connection and customization drive the work that we do. We’re not just supporting a business, we’re supporting the human – making sure they feel seen and helping them pursue their unique vision.
Flexible Schedule
We love what we do, and we love what we’re doing when we’re not at MOCA as well. There always needs to be room for life. We have turnaround times for our calls and emails, take off Holidays, and produce great work while living big, full lives.

Our team is made up of Connectors, Supporters, Strategists, Editors, and Creators, all passionate about creating a value-aligned work life and helping you do the same.
We’ve set up our team structure in a way that maintains the personal feel of working with an individual while having the support and skillset of a team. We are a tight knit, collaborative team who loves the work that we do.

Meet Our Team
Our team is based across the United States and Canada, but we travel often. Each team member was hand-selected for their character as individuals, and then trained for their specific role. We are co-workers and friends, and some of us are family members as well!
When you come on as a client, you’ll be paired with a MOCA Connector as your main point of communication, but the rest of the team is working in the background to make sure your projects run smoothly.
